Abstract

This research was initiated due to the importance of developing critical thinking skills in early childhood, which form the foundation for developing higher-order thinking skills. However, learning practices in kindergarten still tend to focus on conventional activities that do not stimulate children's analytical skills. Therefore, this study aims to describe the use of the Canva application as an innovative learning tool and to determine its impact on improving critical thinking skills in early childhood at Mukhtarul Ummah Kindergarten, Cihampelas. This study used a qualitative method with a descriptive approach, involving teachers and children in group B as subjects. Data were obtained through observation, interviews, and documentation, then analyzed using the interactive model of Miles and Huberman. The results showed that the use of Canva in the learning process can increase children's interest in learning, increase their engagement, and help develop critical thinking skills through visual and collaborative activities. In conclusion, interactive digital media such as Canva can be an effective means of integrating technology with child-centered constructive learning. This research helps in developing learning methods in early childhood that are more appropriate to the digital age and help hone critical thinking skills.
